Hi Jim,

You could try using 4x or 8x Supersampling, instead of Sparse Grid Supersampling. That would give you better performance and an un-blurred AA effect, at the cost of a little more jagginess compared to sparse grid.

Switching to the 'performance' profile on Ambient Occlusion gives a nice fps boost as well, without sacrificing the nice soft shadows.

Also, since Diablo 3 plays on isometric camera, you can just go down to 2x Anisotropic filtering, you won't be able to tell the difference from 16x.

Nice that 32xCSAA works for you. I can't tell the difference on my system, and there wasn't any performance difference too. I was beginning to think it didn't do anything. lol.

Thanks for the guide; it worked great for me! One minor quibble: I found that 32xCSAA was necessary for me, because with 16xCSAA I was still getting aliasing for edges that were close to horizontal/vertical, and it smoothed out textures too much. Still, my system can handle it fine. I'm just glad to have a way to make Diablo actually take advantage of my hardware!
